Grima!morgan(s)!! the future past dlc's rip my heart out sobs especially w/ morgan aaaaaa QmQ I tried to make them seem like they were a bit hesitating still hence only one eye glowing red though you can't rly tell w/ fem!morgan_(:3/ <)_ crossposted from tumblr
Ahh the Morgans. They are such genius characters. I love the flakey/zany girl Morgan and I love the happy go lucky boy Morgan. They were wonderful, and I love that the smiling within the evill. It just works! I wish they would make on more map that will explore what happened to Morgan and why his/her memory is gone. It's such a mystery.
What makes it especially funny, though, is if you play as Male MU and marry Emmeryn, you then have an entire FAMILY of amnesiacs. It sent me into hysterics and made me question the amnesia-gene after all~!
My theory is, that both morgans are your children (twins i guess), but only one could make it to the time tavel portal to stop Lucina (because brain washed by Grima). Because of the time travel, Grima lost the control over Morgan and so he/she lost her/his memories.
But really, i was like "Come to daddy...everything is okay ;A;" when i played the DLC and saw the conversation with both morgans....
I married Lucina with my first male character....i like to play guys x"D
omg my theory is that Morgan did come from the same future as all the other kids, he/she just lost his memories like MU. Figuring that the blood of Grima runs through them both. Which brings up a lot of angst vnskdjvnsd
omfg can I just say that this headcanon made me want to hug the morgans even more-- my poor bbys aaaahhh
I like your theory though and it makes a lot of sense when you think about it ;w; I don't think the sibling part was really thought into as much since the mother's (or, well, father for lucina LOL) are the ones who determine the child?
Thanks! Yeah, that DLC really got me thinking. I mean, don't you think it would be sort of odd for Morgan to be the only one who came from another future? With his memories wiped out on top of that? I'd find it a bit unnecessary if that were the case. The theory itself doesn't even have to do with Grima's bloodline either. It could've just purely depended if you were a Grimleal or not.
I feel like a lot hasn't been thought about lol The game's too out and about for there to be any definite facts. Like in Lucina's future, the awakening occurred when she was a teen, but in the storyline the awakening was happening much sooner than that, when the current Lucina was just a toddler.
This is what makes things wishy washy, but it's cool. Just give me awesome characterization, gameplay, and a story I can dig, and I'll be good (｡´∀｀)
The whole different timings w/ the awakenings could be explained w/ like them coming from different timelines/alternate universes? kind of like the kids from the future past dlc's
it probably would've taken them a lot more time to finish developing the game if they had stopped to make the whole thing personalized to each pair you try to make which is why it's so vague/up to interpretation but I think it's sort of a good thing too? leaves a lot to be imagined by the player and works your creativity LOL personally, I love seeing or reading peoples headcanon's/theory's or thinking of my own. its lots of fun! uwu
I agree!! I love any game that comes w/ a good story~ the beautiful art is also a plus eheh/// ( ´ v ` )
I feel you, though I haven't gotten to playing all of the future past DLCs. The game is already as amazing as it is haha. I haven't been appreciating the blanks enough, since I also enjoy the headcanons and interpreting things for myself ( ; v ; )
Heey that makes sense. Other aspects could always be tossed in to make things all wishy washy though. Depending on the way you saw it, like how Validar isn't compatible with the use of Grima's power? The same trait could be applied to Morgan's sibling as well, or even in a situation where the sibling inherits more from the other parent that disables the use of Grima's power, regardless of the blood they share with MU, or even both those situations put together! But like I said, it's just how you see it. It'd be nice if the developers released some sort of fact book or answered such questions.
Just like Lissa doesn't has the emblem on her body.
Though I must say that I like it that some things are open to interpretation.
I for example completely ignore the actual ending of the game, including the character ending skits.
I spent so much time to increase the supports before I played the last chapter, that I made my own stories up in my head - and I just stick with them.
Some endings were just disappointing to me, as if they completely ignored the character combination and went with a general skit, that's barely fit to the partner...
For example, I married Owain with Noire because I loved their support (stop reading here if it would be a Spoiler for you!)
They spent the whole support talking about cakes. Owain was a bit more serious (besides the cake naming - but no big hero- or swordhand talk) and Noire didn't had a madness-takeover till the S Support. She also grew on self confidence.
So in my headcanon, I picture them opening a cake shop in Ylisse, where Noire created the cakes and Owain named them and attracted the customers. I found this to be such a sweet and fitting ending to them.
The ending skit? Just told about Owain traveling the world because of his swordhand and Noire came along frightened about it.
That wasn't even once a topic in their conversations!
AWWWWHHHH the Owain and Noire That's absolutely adorable. Now that you've explained it, yeah screw the fact book LOL
If there was one, I probably would've been bound to be disappointed by something. The space for headcanons and whatnot; I like it. It's just like how it is with Final Fantasy XIII. They don't go into this full blown flashback, nor do they make a fatal point about how a certain character works. It's that blank that gives you room to interpret. Thanks for telling me!
